As one of Norway’s largest food companies, TINE® has many large and small campaigns and other marketing activities. With that comes a large inventory of marketing material. This is now handled by 3PL Solutions.

Big company – a lot of coordination

With the great pressure on campaigns and activities for TINE®’s many thousands of customers, good coordination and handling of the material is crucial.

Among other things, campaign material from several different suppliers must be received, registered, stored and updated on the web portal. Then it must be packed after ordering, coordinated and sent to the right place at the right time – all over the country.

3PL Solutions helps TINE® by following up large parts of these marketing activities and campaigns, and ensures that everything goes according to plan.

In the past, TINE® itself handled advertising and campaign material from its own warehouse with its own employees, but the desire for more flexibility meant that they searched for other ways of handling this. Through 3PL Solutions, they now have access to a web portal adapted to their needs and more employees who enable the flexibility that was desired. Previously, the material was sent to TINE® warehouses around the country and the sellers spent time driving it out, whereas now it can be sent directly to the store at the desired time. With the changes in the grocery industry, where there will be less access to stores by representatives from suppliers, this is a big advantage.

The choice fell on 3PL Solutions

Several companies were contacted and invited to a tender. For TINE®, it was particularly important that they could find a partner who was reliable, offered good financial conditions, a high level of service, a good location and solid experience. They found that in 3PL Solutions – and having been in the industry for more than 30 years wasn’t exactly a disadvantage!

A good collaboration

When the agreement was in place, a large and extensive relocation process began. Moving can take its toll on any relationship, but we agree that this was a process that went very well.

At 3PL Solutions, we have our own dedicated team that takes care of moving processes. They have a lot of experience and know how to make moving processes the most flexible for both parties.
