1. Introduction

This privacy policy describes how 3PL Solutions AS collects and uses personal data.

3PL Solutions AS, by the general manager, is responsible for processing the company’s personal data. The statement contains information you are entitled to when information is collected from our websites (section 19 of the Personal Data Act) and general information about how we process personal data (section 18, first paragraph of the Personal Data Act).

3PL Solutions AS’ basis for processing personal data will vary, but will, in accordance with section 8 (a) and (b) of the Personal Data Act, consist of consent from the data subject or because it is required by law. Furthermore, it may be necessary to process personal data to fulfill an agreement with the data subject or to comply with a legal obligation.

Consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn at any time in accordance with Article 13 (2) (c) of the GDPR.

2. About personal data and regulations

Personal data is information and assessments that can be linked to an identifiable individual. This may include name, address, telephone number, email address, IP address and purchase and behavioral history.

All processing of personal data, such as collection, registration, storage and disclosure, is subject to special rules, including in the Personal Data Act. The CEO is responsible for ensuring that processing takes place in accordance with the law. The Danish Data Protection Agency monitors compliance with the law.

3. What kind of data do we collect?

In order to provide the best possible services, we rely on collecting various types of information, including personal data about you. Below is an overview of how we typically collect personal data and what type of data this typically is. We do not collect sensitive information.

a) Information you provide to us yourself

When you register on our website, you will need to provide some information that is stored by us, such as your name, email address and mobile number. We will also store information when you contact us later. The information you provide may also be enriched using lookup services or social media you give us access to.

b) Information we obtain through the use of our services

When you use our services, we record information about which services you use and how you use them. Among other things, we collect information about:

i) Your device and internet connection:

We may register information about the device you use, such as mobile/PC manufacturer, operating system and browser version. We may also collect information about the connection to our services, such as IP addresses, network IDs, cookies and unique identification files.

ii) Use of the Services or purchase:

We register information about your use of the services, such as which pages you visit, when you visit the pages and which functions you have used on the pages.

iii) Position information:

We may also register your geographical location when you use our services or shop in our stores through data from purchases you make.

c) Information we receive from other sources

We may receive information about you if you use any of the other services we offer on this website. We also work closely with third parties (e.g. business partners, subcontractors of technical services, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics companies, search engine services and credit reference agencies) and may receive information about you from them. This also includes information that is publicly available.

d) Cookies and other content stored locally

When you use our services or visit our website, cookies and other data are stored that can later be read by us. Read more about our use of cookies.

e) Automatic assessments

Through analysis of your purchases and behavior, automatic categorization of you as a customer can be derived.

4. What is the data used for?

We use personal data for the following purposes:

a) To provide and improve our services

We use personal data to deliver our services to you. We also use personal data to ensure the best possible user experience for you, including by adapting the display of the content to your screen/device and to ensure the fastest possible loading of the pages.

b) To personalize the Services, provide you with recommendations and relevant marketing

We want to provide you with recommendations, product information and service customizations that are as relevant to you as possible. This will both be given on the basis of your own behavior, e.g. on the basis of which products and services you have used or purchased, advertisements you have clicked on or articles you have read, and on the behavior of other users with similar usage patterns as you.

c) To improve digital communication and advertising

We use your personal data to improve our advertising. By creating a profile with us, you agree to targeted advertising through programmatic purchases and targeted advertising through social media where your personal data will be used in the purchase of such advertising.

d) To compile statistics and understand market trends

We compile statistics and map market trends. We do this in order to improve and further develop our product offerings and services. As far as practically possible, we try to do this with anonymous information, without knowing that the information is linked specifically to you.

e) To prevent misuse of our services

We use personal data to prevent misuse of our services. Abuse may include attempts to log into other people’s accounts, attempted fraud, spamming, harassment and other acts prohibited by Norwegian law.

5. Sharing of information

We do not share personal data with other companies, with the exception of our partners who need the data to provide services to us. If we disclose personal data, we enter into agreements with the relevant third parties that limit their ability to use the data.
We may also disclose information in individual cases required by law, for example to public authorities if there is a suspicion of a breach of the law.

6. Transfer of personal data abroad

a) Within the EU/EEA

Your personal data may be transferred abroad. Transfer of personal data within the EU/EEA area may freely take place in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

b) Outside the EU/EEA

If we transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA area, we will ensure that the transfer takes place in accordance with applicable legislation. This means that we will obtain your consent to make the transfer or use other mechanisms to make a lawful transfer.

7. Management of personal data

You can influence what personal data we hold about you and how we use it. You can do this by contacting us at firmapost@3plsolutions.no.

If you discover errors in the information we have about you, you can change this yourself in the settings or by contacting us so that we can correct it.
You have the right to request access to your personal data in accordance with Personal Data Act § 18 and GDPR art. 15.

You also have the right to have the processing restricted in certain cases in accordance with GDPR. GDPR art 18.

8. Deletion of personal data

You are entitled to have all our data about you deleted upon request, without traceability, as long as we are not required by law to store it. You can contact us regarding this and terminate your customer relationship via email to firmapost@3plsolutions.no

9. Security of personal data

We use appropriate security measures to protect personal data under our control from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal.

10. Specifically about email and SMS marketing

If you have an active customer relationship with us, we may send you marketing by email or other electronic communication methods in accordance with section 15 of the Marketing Control Act. This includes newsletters and other inquiries regarding content, services, offers, promotions and events from us, our collaborators and partners via email, phone, SMS, post/letter and social media.

However, if you do not have an active customer relationship, we will only send such marketing if you have given us your consent to do so. Your personal data may also be used to personalize this communication. You can easily and free of charge unsubscribe from marketing inquiries at any time through the unsubscribe function in the emails/SMSs.

11. Changes to the privacy policy

We may periodically update or change our privacy policy. In the event of major changes, we will inform you of this.

12. Right to complain

You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, here Datatilsynet, in accordance with GDPR Article 13 (2) (d).
